ILLUSTRATION
Architect is a TTRPG map-making software by Czepeku. Its branding had to stay consistent with the parent company, while still carrying its own identity.
As the sole digital designer on this project, I kept the visual system deliberately understated so the art could take the spotlight. I designed and animated the logo, created all campaign assets, and partnered with the marketing team on ad campaigns. I also build and maintain a component library and design system with the dev team, and produced media kits for content creators we partner with.
The most successful campaign funded in 9 minutes and closed at 2000% of our funding goal, now at 3000% with late pledges.
DELIVERABLES
Brand guidelines, ad campaigns, digital component library, landing page, media kit, illustrated campaign assets

LANDING PAGE
The landing page has two goals: get visitors to try the free browser-based tool, and show how easy Architect is compared to other map makers. Once people try it, the work speaks for itself. To demonstrate that ease, the page leads with a showcase of finished artwork and screenshots, paired with short clips of the product in use, showing how quickly drag-and-drop tools can produce something beautiful.
CROWDFUNDING CAMPAIGN
The Kickstarter campaigns were marketed as room collections within the tool, rather than as Architect itself. To reinforce the message that the art is human-made, I took a skeuomorphic approach to the campaign design. I illustrated the stretch goal graphic, which was shared with the community to build excitement throughout the campaign as new features were unlocked..

CZEPEKU
Czepeku’s offerings are built around artwork, so the brand needed an identity that supports the art without competing with it. I updated their existing branding, keeping it simple and understated, so the UI and design fade into the background and the art stays at the forefront. The ads below extend this approach, relying on sound design and the product itself, the visuals, to immerse players.
